Climb up and rightwards behind the large tree on the ledge at the left side of The Pit. The number [82] is painted on the rock.

Start at a lower level, just left of the obvious groove that splits The Pit at its left side. Climb ledges to reach the top of the broken groove and finish up this, just left of a finger of rock.

Steep and varied wall climbing giving an excellent introduction to this area of the crag – get the rope and runners out. Start immediately right of the base of the groove at the left side of The Pit. Climb straight up to a recess right of the finger, step on to the nose and finish direct.

Start two metres right of the groove and climb the wall, then continue up a short, left-leaning groove (peg at top). Finish up the wall above.

Start two metres to the right and climb the wall past a stump to a peg just above the horizontal break. Gain the niche above, then move left to a sling, continue to small niche above and finish up the top wall. Care is needed at the very top.

Start one metre to the right, where the ground begins to fall away. Climb the steep wall to broken horizontal ledges at five metres, then continue right of a borehole to the top.
