The obvious line three metres to the left, past a dead tree (little of which now remains). Hard at the start, especially if the crack is climbed direct instead of resorting to bridging on Flake and Wall.
Grade: 4a | First Ascent: -1968

A satisfying little route. Climb the recess on the left, either via the flake crack or by bridging, to reach the jammed block, then surmount this and finish direct.

Climb the centre of the narrow wall on the left to reach a faint scoop, then finish up the groove above.

Previously incorrectly known as Clare`s Crack. Just left again. The enjoyable flake crack.
Grade: 4c | First Ascent: -1968

Climb the overlap in the centre of the wall via an obvious undercut to reach a large ledge, then finish to the right.
Grade: 4c | First Ascent: (1975-79)

The thin flake crack at the left side of the overlap.
Grade: 4a | First Ascent: (Pre-1969)

The wide crack which forms the angle with the next wall, proves surprisingly strenuous.

The route is obvious from its name from directly below. Climb the buttress right of the descent gully to the perched block. A good alternative DESCENT, as it is nowhere-near as polished as the gully.
